Welcome to the Best In Kota Kinabalu.
I live in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Malaysia. I have one daughter and very happily married to my true love who hails from Kuching, Sarawak.
I started this blog because I wanted to document my holiday trips and as a venue to vent out my frustration with the hiccups of traveling such as lousy in-flight services, flight delays, bad hotel rooms, rude taxi drivers, etc. All my traveling is listed in My Travel Page.
Since I am also a person that loves to do ample research of the country that I am visiting I realized how important it is to blog about the place you live in to help visitors who has never been here before. Topic with the word “the best in” is created to document the best food and places in Kota Kinabalu from the view point of a local – Me.
Later on, I started to document my recipes to keep it for my own records because traveling was not so frequent and I needed to blog about something during the in between period of the next travel. I also found using the Ipad to search for my favorite recipes was so much better than a pile of papers and notes to flip when you need to make them. I decided to embark on video taping my cooking because explaining some details of the method was easier than describing it in writing. You can find the videos at my Youtube Channel.
